Michael is a second generation Partner at S. Friedman, Abramson & Co. with extensive knowledge and the field of Maritime Law. Michael’s experience includes shipbuilding transactions, ship sale and purchase related financing arrangements, shipping finance transactions including negotiating, structuring and drafting complex cross-border financial transactions, cross-border asset backed finance, lending and syndicated lending, receivables securitization transactions, restructuring and rescheduling of debt and complex lease and sale and lease back arrangements for vessels and marine containers.
Michael is described an “excellent lawyer, always commercial”, by international legal directory Legal 500 and was ranked by the prestigious international legal directory “Chambers Global”, described as a “Very experienced lawyer”.
Clients also benefit strongly from Michael’s experience in commercial, shipping and admiralty litigation, offshore claims (including the enforcement and implementation of maritime liens and mortgages), personal injury and insurance law expertise.
