Roiy Cohen

Roiy joined our firm in 2010 and was named partner in 2018. Before joining the firm, Roiy was an assistant to the Haifa District Attorney and engaged inter alia in the investigation of marine accidents.

Roiy’s practice focuses on Commercial Law, Civil Law, Maritime and Admiralty Law, involving large-scale international and local corporations. He has vast experience managing and handling overseas legal proceedings before international tribunals LMAA (London), ICC (Paris), KCAB (Korea).

As a partner in S. Friedman, Abramson & Co., Roiy represents the world’s largest shipping companies in Admiralty Court, auctioning vessels as receivers appointed by the court, handling ongoing disputes between cargo owners, carriers (both aerial and sea) and charterers.

Roiy is highly experienced and qualified in handling complex commercial negotiations, dispute resolution and risk management.
