Shimrit did her legal apprenticeship in the State Attorney’s Office in the High Court of Justice (Bagatz) Department, and later with the Deputy Attorney General for Legislative Affairs.
After being admitted to practice law in Israel in 2008, she spent 13 years working in the Ministry of Justice in the Advisory and Legislation department, in the State Attorney’s Office on civil law, and was also the Chairman of the Appeals Subcommittee and the representative for the Justice Minister on the National Council for Planning and Building.
Shimrit has extensive knowledge and experience in planning and construction, property and real estate, and she consults and accompanies clients in all stages of the planning and licensing process. In addition, she has represented clients in appeals and cases regarding plans, permits, urban renewal, compensations and improvement charges.
Education: Hebrew University of Jerusalem, LL.B and Ba and MA in international relations (international law).
Graduated “Amirim” Interdisciplinary Honors Program in the Humanities.
